of digital resource
scholarship at
regent school of divinity
My digital resources have
literally changed my Christianity from the inside-out. With 24-hour personal access and control of my
own resources, I could not benefit more. From customizable reading plans, and note
files, along with interlinears, commentaries, and grammars — as I scroll
— through my daily devotions has trained my eyes to dig for the incredible
depth of Scripture every day. Every
person I have touched has been changed as a result. I could not ask for more
and look forward to the bright days ahead! —Justin
R. Woods
As a retired military veteran, I am trained with an eye
for the prize—what good does it do? Lately, I have witnessed the benefits of my
last four months of training and research on this system (2-3 days a week in my
own home) come to real-life fruition when my class went to the Regent
Library for Greek Word Studies. After exposure to the same resources in the
Logos system, I was more confident than ever helping my classmates because I
was already privy to their purpose, function, and meaning. They took me as leading the charge, when
I just shared my experiences! The greatest benefit of all is sharing my
research with my entire family!! My wife & kids have the same access and they
are edified by the same material I am learning in the classroom! Talk about a
faith-builder—Logos has brought the seminary to our home! The impact has
risen to such a level that I have already included my digital library in my Will
to go to my children. —Wayne

I have the honor to support the bid for a “Digital Resource Scholarship”
here at Regent. Upon learning of its use, I purchased Logos just this January
of 2012. Only now, can I fully understand Justin's passion — along with the
need for our students' awareness and instruction of its use. Scholars can now save
much time in research and devote more time on reflection and refinement.
“Digital Resource Scholarship” here at Regent would definitely add value to
Regent Divinity students. I am hats off to Justin for unselfishly pursuing this
project. Numerous testimonies have been given to Logos outside of Regent
community. As a personal user, therefore, with great pleasure I submit this personal
testimonial for a “Digital Resource Scholarship” here at Regent.—Alicia A. Panganiban

ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to seeing how our Logos system of digitized, scholarly resources can take ordinary joes from the street, and educate and train them into the Christian leadership of tomorrow. Not everyone has the resources for seminary, so we are bringing the seminary out to them!
God is Good, The grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ is on the move.
